Smashbox’s Photo Finish streak of foundation primers has believed amazing hype, and I equitable wouldn’t be the Elegance Bunny if I didn’t try a yield with so much press. My rugged skin note persuaded me to peck up the Color Correcting form in Blend, which at the value seemed like the safest buy (’efficient cause who wants to be left with a big tub of verdant stuff?)

First of all, the weft is fabulous. I reflection it would be greasy from how greasy it seemed coming out of the container, but it went on silken and felt herculean. It has a mild but pleasurable citrus redolence. As far as color correcting, it does set right redness and the ebon circles under my eyes, but the consequence isn’t super intent. I was a little concerned because it looked ebon and sort of orange-y in the bottle, but it went on of nature and pretty. Now if you have of great depth circles or a actually being zit, you’ll still necessity concealer/basis, but that’s part of the sharp end, isn’t it?

Appropriately, Smashbox Photo Finish Hue Correcting Primer is superlatively good at prepping hide for foundation. It’s very effectual at helping my makeup last all day without hit ups. Foundation goes on level, fine lines are filled in, and pores gaze smaller. Makeup glides on critically, and I seem to need less outcome to cover my surface. (Keep in mind that if you have dry or flaky pelt, you’ll still want to use a good moisturizer beneath. The primer makes pelt smooth, but won’t add supplementary moisture or oil.) Bring into being up seems to stay in broad way better & longer as well, and under-eye concealer goes on much much nicer. Overall, I was very impressed.

The decision: 5/5 stars! if you’re going to use a groundwork primer, this is the way to go.
