Smashbox’s Photo Finish stripe of foundation primers has current amazing hype, and I reasonable wouldn’t be the Symmetry Bunny if I didn’t try a harvest with so much press. My rough skin note persuaded me to strike at up the Color Correcting rule in Blend, which at the value seemed like the safest buy (’efficient cause who wants to be left with a big tub of virid stuff?)

First of all, the web is fabulous. I musing it would be greasy from how oleous it seemed coming out of the container, but it went on silken and felt bulky. It has a mild but delectable citrus perfume. As far as color correcting, it does amend redness and the cloudy circles under my eyes, but the result isn’t super strict. I was a little concerned because it looked murky and sort of orange-y in the bottle, but it went on of nature and pretty. Now if you have reaching far down circles or a substantive zit, you’ll still want concealer/bottom, but that’s part of the sharp end, isn’t it?

Appropriately, Smashbox Photo Finish Tint Correcting Primer is superlatively good at prepping derm for foundation. It’s very adequate at helping my makeup last all day without strike against ups. Foundation goes on plain, fine lines are filled in, and pores direct the eye smaller. Makeup glides on fastidiously, and I seem to need less outcome to cover my external part. (Keep in mind that if you have dry or flaky derm, you’ll still exigency to use a good moisturizer below. The primer makes derm smooth, but won’t add supplementary moisture or oil.) Create up seems to stay in broad way better & longer as well, and under-eye concealer goes on much much nicer. Overall, I was very impressed.

The decision: 5/5 stars! if you’re going to use a basis primer, this is the way to go.
