Creating a Pillbox/Palings Diorama, pace-by-step

Yo Homeboys (and Girls)...

Here is the fourth in a order of dioramas that I will apportion with you. As long as I have duration and ideas (and encouragement ;-), I will keep going. Expressions of gratitude to the others who have recently started their own how-to's on diverse things, very much appreciated from one hobbist to another.

Incase you're long delayed to the party, be positive to check out the preceding 3 diorama how-to's I've created with my son. Looking back at the first throw, I personally can see that we've advance along way in skill and introduction, and after all, that's what it is all about. Growing and acquisition of knowledge. The previous projects, superlatively good served with a glass of recent cool milk:

Construction a Ranger-Shack (includes formation a building inner part and out, with brick and wood slats)
Construction a Rock Wall & Trees (includes laboring with casting mortar, painting, construction huge trees and applying foilage)
Construction a Stone Based Diorama (includes laboring with clay to create stone bricks, and sculpting a immense snake seat of the brain):

As in previous how-to's I'm attempting to show each pace, such that you can either recreate yourself in your own statue, or to inspire you to try something else to bring to pass the same result. Have feeling free to give some pointers, or reasonable heckle me... whatever spins your turn round-table. As before, I'm flying by the situation of my pants here.

Now, onto some more throw schweet play...

We wanted to call into existence a Machine-gunner's PillBox - for Hooded snake lackies to conceal out in with a large gun. When we get the pillbox done, we'll have a shackle-link wire-guard beside it. Maybe the post-and-rail framing will be electrified, as luck may have it it won't ~ I'm not sure at this sharp end, we'll see.

Went on a shopping hop to Michael's Talent Store in Langley last weekend and piked up a wooden planter box for $1.99. As you can see from the following photos, it is little slanted...
