I have a chilled. Last week, I drank some hot tea laced with whisky, which made me very, very, very relaxed. And, my pharynx stopped hurting (or, I didn’t solicitude anymore, couldn’t number).

Anyway, I was tweeting about how spirits of wine is one of many social lubricants, used to quiescence social disquiet and become more open with others (except you’re a middle drunk). I asked my tweets what other items operate as social lubricants, and here’s a illustration of the responses:

And then I got to reflecting about how we use these things to exchange stuff to race. I know a sales rep who has brought to meetings yummy cookies with the purchaser’s logo in concreted sugar. I routinely try to get my customers to laughter out loud during my presentations (I erudite a long duration ago that laughing makes you more alive to what that person says next). And then there’s the banner behavior of browsing your purchaser’s act area to find something you have in for the use of all with them (“oh, I see you’re into way luge, too!”)

So, what other civic lubricants can you think of, that are fit to distribute in this PG-rated court?

Or, how have you seen sellers plat themselves into a customer’s civil network more closely? Auspicious or otherwise?
