Do you have at one's fingers' ends a while back when I posted about the colloquy I overheard about clan with unpainted toenails? Well, manifestly feet are more than a liliputian obsession in our thorp. Maybe this is everyone’s view in the good ole USA, or as luck may have it it’s a meridional thing. If either of those is pure, I’ve been uneducated for my whole life.

I rightful got this email from an Arbonne consultant, and frankly it made me in truth mad. If you’re a moneyed, white, little-town meridional girl, haply it is true that your toes are that material. Maybe. Most nation have more to do in their lives than to inquiry people’s toes and feet though. And I can count you right here and now that for the indigent in our community, having sandals that are neither too big or too tiny, having painted toenails that are completely unchipped, and having a hairless big toe are the least of their concerns.

To me, this email smacks of self-confidence and snobbery, and it makes me equitable plain mad. And more resolved than ever to never dog the white Mercedes that Arbonne dangles in front of the ambitious upper-halfway class ladies it pursues to become consultants.

Is this complaisant of stuff a interest where you live? Big toes, painted nails, and the newness of your sandals?

I pledge to always wear sandals that fit. My toes will not suspend over and touch the soil, nor will my heels effuse over the backs. And the sides and tops of my feet will not pudge out between the straps.
